1. Acceptance of Terms

By renting books from Kirayepar, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions, forming a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and applicable laws.

2. Eligibility

• Customer must be 18 years or above, or under guardian supervision

• Valid ID proof and contact details are mandatory

3. Rent Model

• Books are provided at 25% of MRP (Rental Charge)

• A 100% refundable security deposit (equal to MRP) is required before issuing the book

• Rental duration will be clearly communicated (e.g., 7 / 15 / 30 days)

4. Security Deposit Policy

• Customer must pay 100% of the book’s MRP as deposit

• Deposit is refundable after book return and inspection

• Customer will get remaining amount after returning book in good condition

• Deduction will apply in case of:

  • Damage

  • Missing pages

  • Late return

  • Loss of book

5. Book Condition & Responsibility

• Books must be returned in the same condition as issued

• Writing, highlighting, tearing, or water damage is strictly prohibited

• In case of loss, full deposit will be forfeited

6. Rental Period & Late Fees

• Books must be returned within agreed time

• Late return will attract penalty charges (₹5–₹20 per day or as decided)

• Continuous delay may lead to account restriction or legal action

7. Cancellation & Refund

• Rental charge (25%) is non-refundable after book issuance

• Deposit refund will be processed after inspection

• No refund if book is:

  • Not returned

  • Returned in unusable condition

8. Usage Restrictions

• Books are for personal use only

• Re-selling, re-renting, or commercial usage is strictly prohibited

9. Account & Customer Responsibility

• Customer must provide accurate details

• Any misuse, fraud, or false information may result in service termination

10. Business Rights

Kirayepar reserves the right to:

• Refuse service to any customer

• Change pricing, policies, or availability anytime

• Update Terms & Conditions without prior notice

11. Dispute Resolution

• Governed by laws of India

• Jurisdiction: Local court of your business location (Uttar Pradesh)

• Disputes should first be resolved through mutual discussion

🔒 Privacy Policy

• Customer information (name, phone number, ID proof) is collected only for business and verification purposes

• Kirayepar does not sell or share customer data with third parties

• Data may be used for:

  • Order communication

  • Return reminders

  • Offers (optional)

• All data is stored securely and handled responsibly

💰 Refund Policy

• Rental Fee (25%) is non-refundable

• 100% deposit is refundable after successful return and inspection

• Refund may be:

  • Instant (cash/UPI) OR

  • Within 2–5 working days (if digital)

• Partial deductions may apply for:

  • Damage

  • Late return

• No refund in case of loss or severe damage

• Kirayepar is a book rental service, not the publisher or owner of book content rights

• We are not responsible for:

  • Content accuracy inside books

  • Academic results or outcomes

• Service delays due to:

  • Weather, transport, or unforeseen issues are not our liability

• Maximum liability is limited to amount paid by customer

नियम एवं शर्तें –

1. नियमों की स्वीकृति

Kirayepar से पुस्तक किराये पर लेने पर ग्राहक इन सभी नियमों एवं शर्तों को मानने के लिए सहमत होता है। यह भारतीय कानून (Indian Contract Act, 1872) के अंतर्गत एक वैध समझौता है।

2. पात्रता

• ग्राहक की आयु 18 वर्ष या उससे अधिक होनी चाहिए।

• वैध पहचान पत्र (ID Proof) और मोबाइल नंबर देना अनिवार्य है।

3. किराया मॉडल

• पुस्तक MRP के 25% किराये पर उपलब्ध है।

• पुस्तक लेने से पहले 100% MRP का सिक्योरिटी डिपॉजिट देना होगा।

• किराये की अवधि (7 / 15 / 30 दिन) पहले से तय होगी।

4. सिक्योरिटी डिपॉजिट नीति

• ग्राहक को पुस्तक के MRP का 100% डिपॉजिट देना होगा।

• पुस्तक सही स्थिति में लौटाने पर डिपॉजिट वापस किया जाएगा।

• “ग्राहक को पुस्तक सही स्थिति में लौटाने पर शेष राशि वापस मिल जाएगी।”

• निम्न स्थितियों में कटौती की जाएगी:

  • पुस्तक खराब होने पर

  • पेज फटने या गायब होने पर

  • देर से लौटाने पर

  • पुस्तक खो जाने पर

5. पुस्तक की स्थिति एवं जिम्मेदारी

• पुस्तक उसी स्थिति में लौटानी होगी, जैसे दी गई थी।

• पुस्तक में लिखना, हाइलाइट करना, पेज फाड़ना या गीला करना मना है।

• पुस्तक खो जाने पर पूरा डिपॉजिट जब्त किया जाएगा।

6. किराया अवधि एवं लेट फीस

• पुस्तक समय पर लौटाना अनिवार्य है।

• देर होने पर ₹5–₹20 प्रति दिन (या निर्धारित शुल्क) लगेगा।

• अधिक देरी होने पर सेवा बंद की जा सकती है।

7. कैंसलेशन एवं रिफंड

• पुस्तक जारी होने के बाद 25% किराया वापस नहीं होगा।

• डिपॉजिट पुस्तक जांच के बाद वापस किया जाएगा।

• निम्न स्थिति में रिफंड नहीं मिलेगा:

  • पुस्तक वापस न करने पर

  • बहुत खराब स्थिति में लौटाने पर

8. उपयोग की शर्तें

• पुस्तक केवल व्यक्तिगत उपयोग के लिए है।

• दोबारा किराये पर देना या बेचना सख्त मना है।

9. ग्राहक की जिम्मेदारी

• सही जानकारी देना ग्राहक की जिम्मेदारी है।

• गलत जानकारी या धोखाधड़ी पर सेवा बंद की जा सकती है।

10. व्यवसाय के अधिकार

Kirayepar को अधिकार है कि:

• किसी को भी सेवा देने से मना कर सकता है।

• नियम, कीमत या सेवा में बदलाव कर सकता है।

• बिना सूचना के नियम अपडेट कर सकता है।

11. विवाद समाधान

• सभी विवाद भारतीय कानून के अंतर्गत होंगे।

• न्याय क्षेत्र: आपके स्थानीय जिले की अदालत (उत्तर प्रदेश)।

• पहले आपसी बातचीत से समस्या सुलझाने की कोशिश की जाएगी।

🔒 गोपनीयता नीति (Privacy Policy)

• ग्राहक की जानकारी (नाम, मोबाइल नंबर, ID) केवल व्यवसाय के लिए ली जाती है।

• Kirayepar किसी तीसरे पक्ष को डेटा शेयर नहीं करता।

• जानकारी का उपयोग केवल:

  • संपर्क करने के लिए

  • रिमाइंडर देने के लिए

  • ऑफर बताने के लिए (यदि आवश्यक)

• सभी जानकारी सुरक्षित रखी जाती है।

💰 रिफंड नीति (Refund Policy)

• 25% किराया वापस नहीं होगा।

• 100% डिपॉजिट वापस मिलेगा, यदि पुस्तक सही हालत में लौटाई जाए।

• रिफंड:

  • तुरंत (कैश/UPI) या

  • 2–5 कार्य दिवस में (ऑनलाइन)

• कटौती हो सकती है:

  • नुकसान होने पर

  • लेट फीस होने पर

• पुस्तक खोने या बहुत खराब होने पर कोई रिफंड नहीं।

⚠️ अस्वीकरण (Disclaimer)

• Kirayepar केवल पुस्तक किराये पर देने की सेवा है।

• पुस्तक की सामग्री के लिए जिम्मेदार नहीं है।

• पढ़ाई के परिणाम की कोई गारंटी नहीं।

• देरी (मौसम, ट्रांसपोर्ट आदि) के लिए जिम्मेदार नहीं।

• अधिकतम जिम्मेदारी ग्राहक द्वारा दिए गए पैसे तक सीमित है।
